Job Description

Job Description:-

  • Lead end-to-end production operations to achieve delivery, quality, productivity and cost targets.
  • Plan and optimize manpower, machines, materials and production schedules for efficient manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with Design, Planning, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Order Management teams for seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality systems, statutory requirements and EHS practices.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and process improvements.
  • Lead, mentor and develop production teams to build a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.


Qualification -

  • Diploma / B.E(Electrical/Mechanical)
  • Preferred Additional Qualification - MBA-Operation


Mandatory Requirements:-

  • 15–20 years of experience in LV & MV switchboard manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a production leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing a production workforce of 200+ employees.
  • Experience handling annual manufacturing operations of ₹150+ Crore.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems and data-driven production reporting.

Technical skills:-

  • Strong knowledge of LV & MV switchboards, electrical drawings (GA, SLD, schematics) and BOMs.
  • Sound understanding of switchboard manufacturing, including sheet metal fabrication, busbar processing, assembly, wiring, testing and FAT.
  • Knowledge of IEC 61439/62271 standards, routine testing, FAT procedures and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with engineering change management (ECN/ECR), document control and manufacturing best practices.
  • Good knowledge of electrical switchgear components, protection devices, control wiring and panel interlocking schemes
  • Competent in leveraging AI-enabled solutions to optimize production processes, automate manufacturing workflows, improve productivity, and support data-driven decision-making through MIS and operational analytics.
