Senior Executive – Commercial

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Reporting To: Commercial Head – Lucknow

CTC: ₹6–8 LPA

Experience: 3–5 Years

Industry Preference: Automotive Components / Commercial Vehicle Industry

Language Requirement: Marathi (Mandatory)

Job Purpose

To represent Omax Autos Limited at Pune and serve as the key commercial interface between OEM customers, local vendors, transporters, and the Lucknow plant. The role will be responsible for customer coordination, commercial settlements, rate revisions, material movement monitoring, and business development activities with OEMs in the Pune region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate regularly with OEM customers for settlement of new product pricing in coordination with the Engineering Department. Resolve commercial issues related to rate revisions arising from changes in raw material, consumable, and process costs. Maintain strong working relationships with customer teams across various departments at TML Pune.
2. Drive business development initiatives with existing and prospective Commercial Vehicle (CV) OEM customers in Pune.
3. Coordinate with Pune-based vendors and transporters to address quality, cost, and delivery-related matters.
4. Escalate delays in the inward and outward movement of raw materials, finished goods, and returnable packaging/materials to ensure timely resolution.
5. Ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials in line with customer schedules and requirements.
6. Monitor and track pending Debit Notes received from customers and Credit Notes arising from price increases, price reductions, quantity variations, and other commercial adjustments, ensuring timely settlement.
7. Maintain organized electronic records of rate contracts, internal and external approvals, purchase orders, commercial agreements, and customer correspondence.
8. Prepare and submit MIS reports related to customer pending issues, commercial settlements, and operational concerns.
9. Coordinate closely with the Lucknow Plant, Finance, Stores, Production, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business operations.
10. Support vendor development activities and participate in commercial negotiations with local suppliers to achieve cost and service objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma Engineer / Engineering Graduate.

Experience:

1. 3–5 years of experience in Commercial, SCM, Customer Coordination, or Sales Support functions.
2. Candidate should preferably be currently working with Tata Motors Pune (TML) or handling Tata Motors business for at least 2 years.
3. Experience in automotive components, steel manufacturing, engineering, or commercial vehicle industry preferred.

Skills Required

1. Strong understanding of OEM commercial processes.
2. Experience in price settlements, rate revisions, and commercial negotiations.
3. Good knowledge of material movement and logistics coordination.
4. Excellent follow-up, communication, writing skills for effective communication for reply & communicate with customers and relationship management skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements

1. Marathi speaking is mandatory.
2. Pune-based candidate preferred.

Willingness to travel as per company requirement to Lucknow Plant & Gurgaon Corporate Office.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Pune-based candidate will be working from home. Post joining, we will share the client visit schedule and the planned visits to the Lucknow Plant and Corporate Office, as required.
